The cabin is on an organic smallholding in the heart of the Blackdown Hills which has been designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty.

There is a spacious veranda with barbecuing facilities overlooking the lawned garden area.

The lake is just a few yards from the cabin.

From the A30 Honiton exit, follow signs for Dunkeswell. Through the village and past the private airfield, Shutes Lane is the first turning on the left. Valley Farm is at the bottom of the hill on the left. From junction 28 of the M5, follow signs for Honiton. After the Keepers Cottage Pub on the right, turn first left when sign-posted for sheldon. Continue for a few miles to the junction, turn right then left. Pass through Sheldon village. Shutes Lane is on the right. Valley Farm is at the bottom of the hill on the right.
