Description
Brompton Lakes is an exclusive development of luxury lodge-style holiday homes situated just two miles from the historic market town of Richmond on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Set in 26 acres of privately owned land, the 5-star lodges are built on the shores of two lakes and are surrounded by woodland and open countryside. The site is directly on the Coast to Coast path and ideally placed for walking, cycling and other outdoor activities. There is also a tennis court, free mountain bike hire and small rowing boats on the lakes.
Designed to complement the natural features of this stunning lakeside location, the award-winning lodges are distinctive and contemporary to look at with their unique convex living plant roofs and large glass frontages. Two lodge styles are available and each style sleeps up to six people and offers a very high standard of spacious self-catering accommodation.
All of our luxury lodges have wooden floors throughout, good-sized kitchen/dining areas with soft touch units and composite stone work surfaces and an open planning living space with flat-screen TV and audio system. A futuristic and eye-catching log burning heat storage stove forms the central point of the lounge area. The unusual rounded contours of the stove are more than just elegant design – the stove can be rotated to suit and a single load of firewood can provide up to six hours of heat with the stone cladding of the stove acting like a thermal storage heater.
Louis is the larger of the two luxury log cabin style lodges at 125m2, with a pleasant open plan living and dining area and three bedrooms each with split link double beds. The master bedroom has an en-suite with bath and separate shower whilst the family bathroom serves the other two bedrooms and has a bath with shower above.

We have just spent the most perfect weekend in William lodge. The lodges are first class in every way and we will be going back very sson. From the moment you walk through the door to a welcome pack of wine, cheese, jam, cookies ect to even having cotton wool supplied along with other toileteries they have thought of everything. In the kitchen the cutlery and crockery were high quality and they provide all the cleaning items for the dishwasher ect and tin foil and cling film. These lodges are not cheap and that is for a reason, you do get what you pay for. The peace and quiet was great with lots of places to walk our dog. You can even hire a chef for the night if you wish, we didn't but my family took advantage of the free bike hire and tennis courts.
