Limekiln Lodge is one of only 3 lodges on a small and exclusive development. Limestone Lodges are situated on the fringe of the Lake District National park in the small Cumbrian village of Bothel. This is renowned for its spectacular views over the Solway coastline to the Scottish hills. Five minutes from Bassenthwaite and fifteen minutes from keswick the location is ideal for visiting the whole of the lakes.

Our long-established and recently refurbished Limekiln Lodge is still extremely popular, with guests returning year-on-year! Limekiln is more traditional and 'cosy' than the others, and sleeps four people in three bedrooms (one double, one twin and one small single). The relaxing and comfortable open-plan living area leads out onto the large under cover veranda which commands stunning views across open countryside to the Solway Firth and Scottish mountains beyond. To the side is the under cover decking area, with private Jacuzzi hot tub.

From Penrith (M6 Jct.40) follow A66 to roundabout at Keswick. Then take A591 towards Bassenthwaite for 12 miles. At junction with A595 turn right then sharp left into Bothel village following signs for Plumbland and Aspatria. We are 250 metres past St. Michael's School.
