Beside the pretty seaside village of Kippford, this beautiful park boasts a rare red squirrel population and holds the prized David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation.

Adjoining the park are play areas, bluebell woodlands, marked forest and coastal trails and a 9-hole golf course. Trout and coarse fishing and 16km of world class cycle tracks are also on the doorstep. Cycle hire+ is available for all dates. +Charges apply.

Just 15 minutes' stroll away is the pretty seaside village of Kippford with two pubs, chandlery, public slipway and a sand/shingle beach with spectacular views.
Directions:
From Dumfries A711 to Dalbeattie then left on, A710 Solway coast road for 3.5 miles. The Park entrance is on the A710 200 yards past the Kippford turning on your right.
